The next collection of paintings is taking shape.  It will be called “Agonies” and will focus on the agony of racial violence for the victims.  Proposed pieces are: The Agony of Rape (by the master), The Agony of Watching (as your family is sold away), The Agony of  Lynching, The Mother’s Agony, The Child’s Agony, Daily Agony.

I learned a great deal from the last undertaking (Denise’s Shoes) and am eager to begin the process.  I’m starting to look for studio space and have applied to the Museum of Contemporary Art (Atlanta) for a grant.  Very excited.
